Awareness of the needs of the visually impaired has increased significantly in recent years with an emphasis on accessibility for all.

When selecting a signage system:

• Use Tactile and Braille if appropriate
• It is important that the profiles/panels have no frames that will hinder the reading of Braille and Tactile
• Ensure text is legible at relevant distances
• Strong contrast between panel colour and text colour is recommended.
• Use Pictograms where possible
