Summer is approaching and once again it is time to take stock of your architectural signage.

Review – Wayfinding:

Wayfinding is the name given to the art and science which allows us put the right information in the right place at the right time, in order to provide the user with an easy journey through a possibly difficult environment.

· Is the current signage working?

· Are people finding their way without having to ask?

· Is there clear contrast between panel colour and text colour to help people with visual impairment?

· Irish language Act – are signs compliant?

· Does the signage complement the buildings?

· Give an appropriate image of the facility?

Flexibility

· Can changes be made easily ?

Information

· Need the facility to advertise an event?

· Need to tidy up a display area?

· Need to display publications?
