Congratualtions to the Design Team and all involved in the project, winners of:

Interior Architectural Project of the Year at the Irish Building and Design Awards 2013

We were pleased to work with Fitzgerald Kavanagh & Partners on providing signage for this very impressive facility

Working with the project team we proposed a sign solution based on the principal of providing only the exact information people need at key wayfinding points to facilitate ease of movement. This ‘less is more’ approach reduces the number of signs to a minimum. In addition, to make the facility as simple as possible to navigate for non Irish/English speakers, the graphic solution is the use of pictograms wherever possible. Safety and durability are design elements critical in public environments, with hygiene and ease of maintenance essential.
